CAMPUS NEWS: Umar Bujawa calls on students to remain calm over scholarship

The president of National association of Katsina State students Al Qalam University Katsina chapter has called on his members to be more patient in regards to the payment of scholarship.

Umar Lawal Bujawa made the call in a session with journalists. Bujawa noted that his members has already started calling his Mobil phones demanding for the release of the funds.

He further assured the members of Nakatss Al Qalam University Katsina chapter that the payment will commence very soon as promised by the state scholarship board.


" am sure the payment will commence in two weeks time there's no cause for alarm am calling on the students to remain calm as the payment will commence soon" Bujawa said.

Kano travelers cries out

Some travelers  at the Mallam Aminu Kano international airport has lamented their distaste over the barbarous blustering by the security operatives at the Mallam Aminu Kano  domestic departure gate. Some passengers on Sunday morning at about 6:30 at the domestic departure gate told Press  headlines  correspondent that they were harassed, strained, bullied and intimidated by the security operatives at the Aminu Kano international airport domestic departure gate. An eyewitness also told journalists that the security operatives denied some passengers access with their luggage. Press headlines however learnt that the security operatives at the departure gate has been harassing and intimidating passengers for quite a long time now.
